42 Physical Aids Distributed in Tebet District

The South Jakarta Social Services Sub-agency distributed 42 Physical Assistance Devices (ABF) to residents in six urban villages throughout Tebet District.

Head of Tebet District's Social Unit, Rianto Gultom said ABF is provided to fulfill the rights of people with disabilities and underprivileged residents in helping their daily mobility.

He explained that the 42 ABFs provided included wheelchairs, tripods, and walkers. The recipients of the assistance had been previously verified.
He detailed that ABF was distributed to 13 residents of Bukit Duri Urban Village, eight residents of Kebon Baru Urban Village, 10 residents of Manggarai Urban Village, six residents of Manggarai Selatan Urban Village, four residents of Menteng Dalam Urban Village and one resident of Tebet Barat Urban Village.
"We've distributed everything directly to residents in need. Only Tebet Timur Urban Village didn't receive distribution, perhaps another time," he explained.
Meanwhile, Sulistyo Basuki, Head of the Tebet District Government Section, expressed his gratitude to the Social Services Sub-agency for fulfilling residents' requests. He also thanked members of the Jakarta Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) for encouraging residents to take advantage of this government program.
"All the beneficiaries were pleased, especially since the application process wasn't difficult. Hopefully, this will benefit them, especially in supporting their daily activities," he hoped.
