A water channel along 122 meters on Jalan Kampung Bali 23 RW, Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang, is being normalized by Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency.

Head of Tanah Abang Water Resources Unit, Eli Menawan Sari, said the normalization of this channel addresses the residents' aspirations during the 2026 Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang).

Eli added that her side deploys seven personnel to work on this project.
"The project is targeted to complete by the end of September," she added.
Meanwhile, Juhari (39), one of the residents, appreciated the water channel normalization.
"The drainage channels have indeed never been repaired or upgraded with larger U-ditch units, so residents remain concerned about inundation during heavy rain," he stated.
