Odd-Even Traffic System Trial Slated on July 27

Jakarta Dept. of Transportation will hold socialization about odd-even traffic system on June 28 up to July 26. The system trial is slated on July 27 up to August 6.
Vehicles with odd plate number will operate on odd date, as well as even number on even date
Priyanto, agency’s traffic engineering and management, said the trial is scheduled on Monday to Friday at 7 AM-10 AM and 4.30 PM-7.30 PM.

City to Use Advanced Country’s ERP SystemVehicles with different plate number can still operate outside the operational hours.
“The system is off on Saturday-Sunday and national holiday,” he added.
The supervision will be held randomly at nine traffic light intersection along Thamrin-Sudirman-Gatot Subroto.
Other vehicles such as president, vice president, state official, fire trucks, ambulance, public transport, goods car and Governor Regulation 5148/1999 about goods car operational hour are able to pass freely.
