Personnel from the West Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency have carried out repairs on the pedestrian bridge on Jalan Sekretaris, RT 13/02, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk.
The railing were rusted and corroded
Head Section of Road and Bridge for the Sub-agency, Budi Cahyo explained that repairs to the pedestrian bridge, which serves as a route for residents to cross the Sekretaris River toward Jalan Sekretaris, were carried out by ten personnel starting Tuesday (8/11) and were completed yesterday, Thursday (8/27).

Budi explained that this pedestrian bridge is approximately 30 meters long and two meters wide, constructed of concrete. Iron railings line the sides and top, parts of which have become rusty and corroded.
"We replaced the corroded sections of the railing and patched the damaged concrete flooring. We also painted the bridge red and white," he stated.
