Breakfasting Dishes in Rawamangun Contain Dangerous Substance

Jakarta food tenacity team held raid for breakfasting dishes on Jalan Balai Pustaka and Jalan Pegambiran, Rawamangun, East Jakarta. Of 61 samples taken, five samples contained dangerous substance.

Endra Muryanto, Jakarta Head Health Lab, said all dishes on Jalan Bali Pustaka were taken from 48 traders. Only one sample contained formalin. That is wet yellow noodle from Soto Mie Bogor seller.

“Only one sample contains formalin. We give examination report (BAP) to the sellers,” he said, Monday (6/20).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Head Dept. of Micro Small Middle Cooperative and Trade, Iswandi, stated his side tool 36 samples from 20 sellers on Jalan Pegambiran and Pasar Rawamangun. Four samples contained rhodamin B.

“All food contained dangerous substance directly seized and destroyed. They must stop selling food contains dangerous substance or we’ll take the next level by involving police,” he closed.
