Kemayoran Residents Asked to Utilize the Kemayoran Sports Hall

Vice Mayor of Central Jakarta, Eric PZ Lumbun, invited Kemayoran residents to utilize the Sports Hall (GOR) as a space for exercising, doing activities, and building togetherness.

"The completed renovation of the Kemayoran Sports Hall is good news for local residents. This sports facility provides a space for residents to exercise, engage in activities, and build community," he said, Friday (9/4).

Besides being a sports hall, he continued, the Kemayoran Sports Hall can also be a place for developing the younger generation, as well as a space for developing talents and achievements.

"I hope that the Kemayoran Sports Hall can also be a place to produce high-achieving young athletes who can bring a good name to Central Jakarta," he hoped.

Head of the Central Jakarta Arena Management Unit, Mimi Karminingsih, explained that the Kemayoran Sports Hall is back in operation after undergoing repairs for six months.

"For six months, the Kemayoran Sports Hall was closed for roof repairs. Thankfully, the sports facility has reopened after the repairs were completed," she explained.

According to her, the reopening of the Kemayoran Sports Hall is a symbol of the revival of the enthusiasm of the people and young generation of Kemayoran to be active, creative, exercise, work and achieve.

"This building is standing again, enthusiasm is growing again, and achievements are ready to be achieved. Let's make the most of this facility, let's protect it as our shared property," she emphasized.
