East Jakarta PMI Assists Fire Survivors in Susukan

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of East Jakarta distributed a number of aid packages to fire survivors in Gang Subur, Jalan Haji Baping, RT 12/04, Susukan Urban Village, Ciracas District.

The assistance provided consisted of basic food packages, family kits, kitchen kits, tarpaulins, folding mats, sarongs, and blankets.
"The basic food packages contained 2.5 kilograms of rice, one liter of cooking oil, one kilogram of granulated sugar, two cans of sardines, and 10 packs of instant noodles. The aid was received by homeowner Santi Sari, witnessed by officials from the Susukan Urban Village," he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of Susukan Urban Village, Puja Akbar Sahroni expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the East Jakarta PMI for providing assistance to its residents who were fire survivors.
According to him, the urban village rank had previously submitted a request for assistance because affected residents needed support after their homes were damaged by fire.
"This assistance is certainly very useful and helps meet the needs of residents during the recovery period after the fire disaster," he admitted.
