Land acquisition for the parallel railway road project on Jalan Kemuning in South Jakarta has hit 70 percent, with full construction scheduled to finish by 2027.

Inspecting the Pejaten Timur site on Monday (9/14), Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that remaining land purchases will be finalized in 2026 to ensure the project meets its 2027 deadline.
"Land acquisition has reached 70 percent, and with the support of the regional office head, Mr. Lutfi, we aim to finalize the remaining 30 percent in 2026 to ensure the road is completed by 2027," he expressed.

"This parallel road will significantly alleviate heavy bottleneck issues in Pasar Minggu. We aim to complete the entire project by 2027," Pramono added.
Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Heru Suwondo added that the bypass road will link Rawajati directly to Poltangan to ease severe bottlenecks.
"Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu is heavily congested. This new bypass creates a continuous corridor from Rawajati to Poltangan to relieve the pressure," he explained.
Phase one (2015–2019) saw 84 plots acquired to build 980 meters of road. Phase two, launched in 2024, targets 118 land parcels totaling 13,890 square meters.
"Targeted land for this year includes state assets from the Transportation Ministry, city agencies, and 4,478 square meters of private residential property," he explained.
Of the 118 phase-two parcels, 65 are acquired and eight are transferred, leaving 45 pending clearance.
"Completing land acquisition by 2026 allows us to start heavy construction immediately in 2027," Heru added.
He added that the level crossing at the Volvo intersection will be permanently eliminated upon project completion to boost commuter safety.
"Closing the Volvo grade crossing eliminates train-vehicle collisions and streamlines traffic flow once the bypass opens," he noted.
Jakarta BPN Office Head Lutfi Zakaria urged property owners to promptly submit administrative paperwork to expedite land acquisition targets.
"Public support in submitting necessary documents will fast-track the entire acquisition process," he added.
