A total of 12 Blue Troop personnel are deployed by the Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency to normalize the channel on Jalan Ayahanda RW 06, Kramat Urban Village, Senen.

Head of Senen SDA Unit, Zulfahmi said the normalization of the 232 meter long and 60 centimeter high channel in this residential area is carried out by installing 40 x 40 x 120 centimeter U-ditch concrete.

According to Zulfahmi, this work follows up on residents' requests submitted at the 2026 Musrenbang. Residents wanted the channel renovated because its condition was no longer able to flow the water during the rainy season.
One of the local residents, Wahyuni, admitted so far, the residential area has often been flooded when it rains because the water in the channels overflows.
"Hopefully, after being widened, the channel will be able to flow more water, so that it doesn't overflow and cause flooding during the upcoming rainy season," she hoped.
