The mobile veterinary clinic service at Angsa Park in Gudang Peluru, RT 04/03, Kebon Baru Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta, was warmly welcomed by residents.

Herlina, a resident of RT 07/03, Kebon Baru Urban Village, appreciated the outreach service that brings veterinary care closer to residents.

She said the service was very helpful for residents, as they could access veterinary care for their pets without having to travel to facilities far from home.

"I'm really happy. I also asked the veterinarian earlier whether the service could be held regularly in each housing complex. That way, we could keep monitoring and maintaining our pets' health," she said on Monday (9/21).

She hoped the service would not be held just once, but regularly, such as every four or six months. She said regular services could be organized in cooperation with local RT administrators.

"Hopefully, the service will continue because for animal lovers like me, easy access to veterinary care like this is very important and much needed," she said.

Meanwhile, Tebet Sub-district Food Security, Marine and Agriculture (KPKP) Unit Head Irma Malini explained that the activity aimed to provide direct veterinary health services for residents' pets, including dogs and cats.

"Today, we from the South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency are providing veterinary health services for local residents. The services include general health checkups as well as sterilization procedures for cats and dogs," she explained.

According to her, the activity received a positive response from residents. A total of 12 pet owners registered, with 14 pets examined and treated.

"We hope this program will help residents keep their pets healthy while providing real benefits to the community," she noted.
