Industrial estate developer PT JIEP has joined forces with municipal wastewater operator Perumda PALJAYA to enhance wastewater management services across JIEP's industrial sites and infrastructure.

The strategic deal was sealed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) at the Graha Daya Guna Building, East Jakarta.
The agreement was signed by PT JIEP President Director Dharma Satriadi and Perumda PALJAYA President Director Untung Suryadi, alongside Perumda PALJAYA Supervisory Board Chairman Wahyu Mujiono and BPBUMD Jakarta representative Renash Maharinny.

Through this strategic pact, PT JIEP and Perumda PALJAYA will jointly develop wastewater infrastructure across JIEP-managed estates, aiming to provide cleaner, greener, and more sustainable operational support for tenant businesses.
He reaffirmed that the partnership serves as a tangible step toward raising the bar for environmental management within the Pulogadung Industrial Estate.

PT PALJAYA Head, Untung Suryadi highlighted that the partnership aligns with PALJAYA’s broader push to extend modern wastewater solutions throughout Jakarta's key industrial hubs.
"By sealing this agreement, both PALJAYA and PT JIEP are moving straight to concrete steps to upgrade wastewater management and related utility services across Pulogadung's industrial infrastructure," he stated.
