Arrangement of TPS 3R Rawa Badak Utara Area Completed

The development of a priority area on Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter, RT 11/09, Rawa Badak Utara Urban Village, Koja District, North Jakarta, has been completed. The area, located directly next to the 3R waste disposal site (TPS 3R), now looks cleaner, greener, and more organized.

Head of Rawa Badak Utara Urban Village, Ester Laura Kartini, said the area previously appeared poorly maintained and was often used for illegal parking and dumping of garbage carts. This situation was quite disruptive, as it was located on a busy road.

She explained that the development covers an area approximately 100 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. Work began in mid-July and to be completed by the end of September 2026.
"Five PPSU personnel are deployed every day," she explained.
Ten tabebuya trees are planted along the area. It is hoped that these trees will further enhance the beauty of the area as they grow larger and flower.
"We hope the TPS 3R area no longer feels rundown. Let's protect and maintain it together so its benefits can be felt sustainably," she hoped.
Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Muhammad Rifai (33), admitted the area conditions are now much cleaner and more beautiful than before.
"It now looks cleaner and greener. The landscaping also makes the area more pleasant to look at," he admitted.
