"Students are introduced to turtles, starting from their life cycle to the importance of preserving turtles and the marine ecosystem in the Seribu Islands," he said, Wednesday (9/30).

Agung explained that student involvement in conservation activities is a crucial step in fostering environmental awareness from an early age. He hopes the knowledge gained can be applied in everyday life.

"We want children to gain new knowledge and grow to be part of the effort to protect turtles and the marine environment on Sabira Island," he explained.

The Principal of SDN Pulau Harapan 02 and also the Principal of SMPN Satu Atap 02 Pulau Sabira, Ispianah, appreciated the activity because conservation education provided learning experiences outside the classroom while introducing the importance of preserving the environment that is close to the students' lives.

"This activity is beneficial because students gain knowledge about turtles and the importance of protecting the environment. We hope their concern for marine sustainability will increase," he hoped.
