"We want public facilities to be used as they should be and street vendors not to sell in places that violate the rules," he said, Wednesday (9/30).

Dimas explained that the enforcement began with persuasive measures through socialization and education for traders in early August 2026.

"The traders were gathered at the district office and given an explanation that they should no longer sell at this location with a deadline of September 29," he explained.

Meanwhile, Head of Makasar District Satpol PP, Robinhot Butar Butar stated after the controlling, access to the Transjakarta bus stop will be fenced off to prevent traders from bringing in carts or setting up stalls on the sidewalk area.

"Five Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) officers are also assigned to monitor the area daily. Any who persist in selling will be controlled," he stated.
