Road Repair on Jalan Karang Keroya Completed

The repair of the residential road on Jalan Karang Keroya, RT 03/03, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Seribu Islands Sub-district, finally completed. It aims to improve accessibility, safety, and convenience for residents and visiting tourists.

Untung Jawa Islad Urban Village Head Muslim explained that while the street was previously fitted with paving blocks, wear and tear had left parts of it sunken and displaced.
"The uneven road threatened the safety of residents and drivers alike. We acted promptly to fix the damaged portions," he expressed, Tuesday (10/20).
Sakura Beach Bridge RepairedAccording to Muslim, PPSU personnel replaced worn-out paving blocks and installed concrete curbs on both sides to prevent future shifting.
"The work covered a 100-meter stretch with a width of 2.5 meters. Around 20 personnel completed the overhaul in just one day yesterday," he added.
He hoped that the upgraded street would facilitate daily movement for islanders while enhancing the experience for visiting tourists.
"We call on locals to help preserve this infrastructure so everyone can enjoy its long-term benefits," he added.
This repair received appreciation from one of the locals, Husein (55).
"Thank you to the urban village head for swiftly responding to the residents' needs. Hope this repaired road will bring comfort to both locals and tourists," he stated.
