Jakarta Provincial Government will construct Daan Mogot Grand Mosque area into green zone concept. The mosque building with seven tower of flat applies green building concept.

“It will be national pilot project. Concept uses green zone and green building,” said Ika Lestari Adji, Jakarta Head Dept. of Public Housing and Governmental Building, Friday (6/24).
According to her, green zone built at Daan Mogot grand mosque is one of Jakarta Provincial Government concerns about climate change. The area design will also involve several companies through their CSR.
National Earth Hour Capital Award Given for Jakarta“The design, water management, layout, building material must be based on green building concept. There will be also a small lake,” she added.
She continued that the construction is targeted to complete in October 2016.
