Today, Final Day of Homecoming Transport Improvement

Jakarta Dept. of Transportation gives deadline on Friday (6/24) for auto bus companies to improve their armadas. Unworthiness bus operated during homecoming season will be grounded surely.

Jakarta Dept. of Transportation Head, Andri Yansyah, admitted mostly the armadas were failed passing the tests.

“If the armadas are still exist tomorrow, then we’ll ground it. Improvement deadline is today only,” he said, Friday (6/24).

Homecoming Transport Ramp Check Held at 11 Terminals

According to him, his side has given chance since June 6 ago. Based on the data, there were 1,305 armadas checked since June 6-23. Of the total armadas, only 18 percent or 239 units passed the test. 1,066 units failed passing the test.

Meanwhile, Kampung Rambutan bus terminal head, Emerald August stated there were four buses grounded on that dates.

“Four buses are grounded and seven others are ticketed,” he stated.
