200 Seeds of Chili Pepper Distributed to Kebayoran Lama Citizens

South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept has distributed 100 seeds of red chili pepper and 100 seeds of cayenne pepper to citizens in Kebayoran Lama Sub-district.

They request to us, we serve them by providing seeds and then distributed to all RWs

Head of South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept, Kristrisasi Helenandari disclosed, chili seed distribution is an effort to develop urban agriculture that supports the fulfillment of the household needs. Moreover chili commodity is including strategic commodity of inflation.

"It's a non-governmental activity that facilitated by officer. Without budget, it is an effort to meet public needs. Officers and its citizens are active. All interested citizens are invited to participate for planting," she stated, Tuesday (6/28).

Seeds Garden Asset in Srengseng Must be Guarded

She added it also aims to support the movement of farming by utilizing the narrow area.

"They request to us, we serve them by providing seeds and then distributed to all RWs. We get it from the Agriculture Counseling Office (BPP) in Ragunan," she finished.
