Dozens of stall and cart of street vendor (PKL) on Jalan Lada and Jembatan Batu, Pinangsia Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta, have been controlled, Thursday (6/30).

Taman Sari Sub-district Secretary, Rumiyati, admitted the controlling was held based on citizens complaint. Their existence disturbed the traffic and pedestrian much.

“We have conducted the socialization before controlling the PKL,” she said.

Meanwhile, Pinangsia Urban Village Head, said as many as 15 stalls and carts have been controlled from the location.

“30 joint personnel are deployed. Mobile monitoring will be applied to prevent PKL comeback,” he said.
