S. Jakarta Fire Handling Personnel Standby at Ragunan Zoo

South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue deploys personnel and two fire trucks for 24 hours at Ragunan Zoo. Not only anticipating fire, personnel will also anticipate incident during the Eid holiday.

Head Sector IX of Pasar Minggu for Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, Arif, said personnel deployment is to anticipate visitor surge during holiday. This could lead to an incident.

“Visitor surge could trigger incidents such as fire, missing kid, tree collapse, and so on,” he said, Friday (7/8).

Mobile Toilet Prepared at Ragunan Zoo and Kalibata Cemetery

His side deploy the personnel and fire trucks up to Sunday (7/10). Other equipments such as first aid, rope, hydraulic cutter, automatic saw are also prepared.

“Personnel are divided into three shifts, three or four people in one shift,” he added.
