Basuki Reminds Citizens to Avoid Giving Alms on Street

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama appeals the citizen to avoid giving alms for PMKS on the street. Giving alms can be done at flats.

“I appeal citizens to give their alms at flat. They can hold a training or something else. We’ll support,” he said, Monday (7/11).

Giving alms for PMKS, he added, will attract outsider come to Jakarta. Alms should be given right on target.

Basuki admitted his side has focused the alms through flats. It is because many relocated people need support. The relocated people also get subsidized programs such as education, transportation, and training.

“I remind you, please give your alms right on target,” he added.
