Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said the restoration is slated in 2017.

Meanwhile, Head Division of Cultural Heritage Conservation for Jakarta Dept. of Tourism and Culture, Taufik, supports the involvement of the foundation to restore the island.
“We are glad with this. Can not wait the improvement they will provide for the island,” he stated.
