15 Illegal Buildings on Jalan Jati Indah Demolished

As many as 15 illegal buildings on local government land and Pesanggrahan riverbank, Jalan Jati Indah RT 02/01, Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta were demolished.

The buildings were used as house, coffee and food stall

Hendi Nopriyadi, Pondok Pinang Urban Village Head, said some of the buildings are semi and permanent. 20 people lived in the buildings.

“The buildings were used as house, coffee and food stall,” he said, Thursday (7/14).

East Jakarta Focuses Controlling Buildings at Riverbank

According to him, mostly the occupants came from outside Jakarta. As many as 30 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army/police and PPSU were deployed during the demolition.

The 1,500 meter square land will be used as RPTRA.
