The heads of urban village and sub-district are asked to collect data of water channels. It is aimed to anticipate flood as the impact of La Nina. Rain intensity will be higher during La Nina.
Regional heads must see the real condition directly
Premi Lasari, Head Bureau of Governmental Order, admitted has asked regional heads to do this.
“Regional heads must see the real condition directly,” Premi said, Monday (7/18).
City Anticipate Impact of La NinaAfter collecting the data, Premi added, channel mapping must be also provided. It can be done together with Dept. of Water Management.
Regional working units (SKPD) will improve the channel after the data collecting and mapping are done. It must use priority scale.
“It is hoped the effort could minimize flood and puddle,” Premi added.
Once again, regional heads must monitor the channel together with PPSU personnel after being improved or cleaned.
