Jakarta Dept. of Water Management noted there are 15 damaged water pumps. The number is lower from previous time by 47 pumps. Repair is being run for the damaged pumps.
5 of them are broken and being repaired now
Teguh Hendrawan, head of agency, said city has 138 pump houses with 404 pumps. “15 of them are broken and being repaired now,” he said, Monday (7/18).
According to him, 344 pumps are in good condition, 45 are broken but still able to operate and 15 pumps are fully broken.
Water Management Head must Check Pluit ReservoirObstacle to repair the pump, he added, there is arrear to the sole agent. That is why sole agent postpones the repair. “We have told them that maintenance budget is allocated in budget amendment,” he added.
One of the broken pumps and can not be operated is in Pluit reservoir. There are four damaged pumps.
