Tens of PPSU personnel of Cilangkap Urban Village dredged connecting channel of Kali Tengah. The effort is done based on report and complaint from local residents.

Cilangkap Urban Village Head, Dwi Ispuranto said, the cleaning project is focused at Jalan Masjid Al Khoir and Jalan Wira Kencana IV-V. Based on citizens report, settlement at RT 01, 03, and 08 and RT 06 RW 02 Cilangkap is usually flooded if the channel is overflowing.

“Today we deploy 12 PPSU personnel cleaning the channel from mud and trash,” he said, Saturday (7/23).

According to him, the channel already faces shallowing. It must be dredged totally. It means East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management role is needed.
