Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat officially opens Jakarta International 10K race  at Epicentrum, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Sunday (7/24). Djarot firing guns into the air to mark the beginning of the race.

"Are you ready?," he stated, while giving a mark to 15 thousand of runners at the starting line, Sunday (7/24).

The event that held in a series of city's 489th anniversary is hoped can foster the spirit and passion for the sport as part of a healthy lifestyle.

It is divided into three categories, namely Open, Closed and Student. Open category is open to Indonesian citizens and foreigners with a minimum age of 17 years old, Closed category reserved for the citizen with a minimum age of 17 years old, while student category is open to all high and senior school students who have cards of students aged 13- 17 years old.
