Underpass will Be Built at Intersection of Matraman-Salemba

Jakarta Provincial Government plans to build an underpass at the intersection of Matraman-Salemba. It is conducted to parse traffic jam and support Transjakarta bus plying corridor IV (Pulogadung-Dukuh Atas) and V (Kampung Melayu-Ancol).

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept Head, Yusmada Faizal disclosed that the project is part of the construction of nine flyovers and underpasses that will be implemented in 2016. As planned, the underpass will connect Jalan Pramuka from Menteng Dalam direction.

"This year, we build nine flyovers and underpasses with varied purposes," he expressed, Thursday (7/27).

Pasar Gembrong Underpass is Contractor Responsibility

Such underpass would have 2 tracks and 1 way traffic as long as 667 meters with 9.1 meters wide. Thus traffic jam could be parsed well.
