15 Vehicles Netted for Illegal Parking

As many as 15 vehicles were controlled due to illegal parking at green lane at Jalan Raya Bogor, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Thursday (7/28). The controlling was done since illegal parking disturbs public order.

Head Section of Operation for East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation, Boval Juliansyah, said three out of 15 netted vehicles were towed to agency office. 10 vehicles were ticketed by agency personnel and two remaining by police personnel.

The raid was also held based on citizens report. The green lane is used as parking lot, workshop, up to street vendor stalls. Joint personnel from army/police were also deployed.

“We controlled 15 vehicles parked on green lane,” he said.

His side will routinely monitor the area to prevent similar problem. He also asks urban village apparatus to monitor the area also.
