PKL in Seribu Islands Need Arrangement

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission B Member, Syarifuddin revealed that the guided street vendor (PKL) in Seribu Islands Regency must be optimized.

In current trend, people are lazy to go to Puncak due to traffic jam and prefer to Seribu Islands, which is why there should be serious arrangement for PKL

This is because, at this time, the islands has become a prime tourist site for Jakartans and its surrounding areas.

"In current trend, people are lazy to go to Puncak due to traffic jam and prefer to Seribu Islands, which is why there should be serious arrangement for PKL," he expressed, when he discussed work program of Jakarta KUMKMP Dept in the meeting room of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Thursday (7/28).

According to him, the guided location condition in the islands is not organized well.

"Even cart condition is broken, so there should be serious attention," he stressed.

From the data, every holiday, the visitor who visits the islands is reaching Rp 4,000-5,000 people. It will be increased if the island reclamation is completed.

"Every holiday, PKL merchandise in the islands and its surrounding areas is sold out, so the stock should be added," he finished.
