The car free day implementation is complained by the citizens day by day. It is because the car free day area at Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin flocked by street vendor (PKL) and people with social-welfare problem (PMKS).

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, sidewalk and road starting from Arjuna Wijaya Status intersection heading to Bundaran HI was full with PKL and PMKS.
Because of difficult passing the road, then the citizens walked on Transjakarta bus lane. Unfortunately, no Satpol PP personnel were seen.
Car Free Day on Jalan Boulevard Raya Held Again“It is difficult to ride my bike. Many people stopping at PKL stalls,” said Rony (32), one of citizens.
Similar statement was also stated by Dika (45), one of Senen citizens who came with his two daughters.
“I hope the local government will evaluate this program fully,” he stated.
