LED Lamp Installation in South Jakarta Still Constrained

Lamp installation won't reach 5,000 units because we have to install them using a ladder car, while it is limited

Street light type LED installation in South Jakarta is constrained by inadequate number of ladder cars. It makes the installation target of 5,000 points in 2016, was forced to be removed.

"Lamp installation won't reach 5,000 units because we have to install them using a ladder car, while it is limited. There are still two weeks. I think we could install at least 2,000 units. Before Independence Day celebration, it could already be installed in middle of city, strategic lane," said Ichsan Tasik, Section Head of Supervision and Control for South Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept, Monday (8/1).

2,610 LED Lamps Installed in South Jakarta

According to him, until Saturday (7/30), there are 560 points replaced with LED smart system lamp.

"Lamp installation has reached Jl HR Rasuna Said and Jl Sultan Agung. Maybe it will finish two days ahead. After that, we will do the same thing in Mampang until Duren Tiga-Ragunan," he finished.
