Furniture Fabric and House in Klender Burnt

A furniture warehouse and fabric at Jalan Cipinang Muara 3 RT 011/04, Klender, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta were burnt, Monday (8/1), at 9 AM. Allegedly, the fire was caused by short circuit electricity.

Based on the information, the short circuit electricity came from PT Mitra Karya Pragana furniture warehouse. The fire was quickly burn the wood.
Two permanent and semi permanent houses were also burnt. Local citizens had difficulty to extinguish the fire.

“We have difficulty to extinguish the fire,” he said.
As many as 13 fire trucks of East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue were deployed. The fire was finally extinguished in one hour later.
Head Section of Operation for the agency, Gatot Sulaiman, stated his side together with the police side are still investigating the cause.
“Temporary allegedly is caused by short circuit electricity,” he stated.
