The management of 15 traditional market parking lots now is handled by Parking Regional Public Service Board (BLUD). Based on the first day of implementation, the service needs more improvement.
We have no clear entrance and exit lane for car and motorcycle
Tiodor Sianturi, Parking BLUD Head, admitted the management needs more improvement. He found problem during his visit to Jembatan Lima Market.
“We have no clear entrance and exit lane for car and motorcycle. Many traders also close the vehicle access,” he said, Monday (8/1).
Parking Facilities at 15 Markets InstalledAs the improvement, his side will install parking and entrance/exit sign. The access will be also sterilized from traders.
“Now the system is still using manual method. It is hoped parking system could be applied soon,” he added.
