President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asks regional government to boost the budget realization. It is aimed to boost the economy.
“It’s 10 provinces with high regional cash,” he said, Thursday (8/4).
Jakarta Nominated for Best 2015 TPIDThose 10 provinces are Jakarta with Rp 13.9 trillion, West Java Rp 8.034 trillion, East Java Rp 3.9 trillion, Riau Rp 2.86 trillion, Papua Rp 2.59 trillion, Central Java Rp 2.46 trillion, East Kalimantan Rp 1.57 trillion, Banten Rp 1.52 trillion, Bali Rp 1.4 trillion, and Aceh Rp 1.4 trillion.
Based on data in May, province and regency/city budget was unused by Rp 246 trillion. The amount declined by Rp 214 trillion in June.
“It’s too slow. The realization must be accelerated for the sake of our regional development,” he uttered.
