Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama admitted high cash in Jakarta Provincial Government is caused by many unpaid projects. Those projects are still being run.

Basuki added the project will be paid after it’s fully completed.

Basuki said this year budget realization is already good. It is predicted to reach 90 percent by the end of this year. In 2015, the unused budget (Silpa) was Rp 3 trillion.
“Our budget realization this year is predicted to be better than last year,” he continued.
Jakarta Provincial Government, he said, does not receive General Fund Allocation (DAU) from central government. “We have no DAU. President criticizes province with DAU. They get DAU but remains unused,” he closed.
