Park and Ride Under Flyover Connected with Train Station

A park and ride that will be built in three under flyovers would be connected with bus terminal and train station. Even the location is also passed by Transjakarta bus.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed three under flyovers that will be equipped with park and ride are Kampung Melayu, Klender and Tebet.

"For under Tebet Flyover, we have coordinated with PT KAI to build a pedestrian bridge (JPO) from parking lot to Tebet Station," he stated, Monday (8/8).

Park and Ride Provided at 3 Under Flyovers

According to him, the construction is a solution to the land use of anticipating street vendors (PKL) or people with social welfare issues (PMKS). In addition, using park and ride, the local revenue (PAD) from parking lot can also be increased.

"It is hoped there is additional PAD from parking retribution. The fund can be used for another project," he closed.
