Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama cancels the construction of Cengkareng Barat construction this year. The land case is being solved now.

“The construction is canceled. Land status is remain unclear,” he said, Monday (8/8).

The flat construction is not only using city budget, but developer will also use its obligation.

“Our budget is also not enough. Tax sharing from central government has not been transferred yet,” he added.

By canceling this project, city’s target to construct 20 thousand flats must be declined to 14 thousand units.

Basuki admitted will find another site for flat construction.
