Odong-odong & Pedicab Netted from Cempaka Putih

Tens of odong-odong mini-trains and pedicabs are netted from Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. They have disturbed traffic flow and other motorists.

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Vice Head, Bernard Tambunan disclosed, the officer managed to secure 10 units of odong-odong and 4 pedicabs from Rawa Kebo Market on Jl Cempaka Putih Timur and Jl Saluran PHB Lagura.

"We bring them (odong-odong and pedicab) to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung with three trucks," he disclosed, Tuesday (8/9).

According to him, its existence is complained by residents. Besides disturbing the motorist, they are also dangerous for the passenger safety.

"They break the traffic law as has been modified," he stressed.
