Pondok Gading Connecting Channel Dredged

Mud in the Pondok Gading Utama's connecting channel, Jl Pegangsaan Indah Barat II, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, cleaned.

Division Head of Water Management for Kelapa Gading Sub-district, Rukmana disclosed, mud dredging in the channel is carried out over citizen’s request. This is because, during rainy season, inundation as high as 50-60 cm often hit the citizen residential.

He explains the officer has dredged about 800 meters of total long is 1,000 meters. The channel itself is dredged up to two meters deep.

"1,400 cubic of mid have been picked up," he stated, Tuesday (8/9).

He added, mud dredging has been ongoing since July 28, 2016 and is targeted to be complete on August 15, 2016. To optimize it, one unit of excavator and two units of trucks have been sent to the field.
