F rom six regions of East Jakarta, are rated best in library management. Even the number of public libraries and reading centers (TBM) in this region is the most. Therefore, the region was chosen as Safari Reading National Movement at the provincial and regency/city level.

The event itself was participated by 200 people. They are from elements of the library manager in the library, RPTRA, TBM, PAUD and SMA students.

Head of Jakarta Library and Local Archive Agency (BPAD), Tinia Budiati disclosed, the all existing libraries are still in good condition and can be used as a pilot for other regions.

"I see the library management in East Jakarta is the most reactive and full of innovation. It could be a pilot for other regions," she stated, after the event of Safari Reading National Movement at the provincial and regency/city in the East Jakarta Mayor's office, Tuesday (8/9).

Head of East Jakarta Library and Archive Office, Fadlan disclosed the event is one of the government's efforts in enriching the nation.

"We'll continue to take the initiative thus the visitor like to read and come," he closed.
