Around 980 joint personnel held a ceremony on the yard of Cakung Sub-district office, East Jakarta, Wednesday (8/10). The ceremony that led by East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, related to controlling 186 illegal buildings along Jl Raya Cacing on the west side.

Bambang disclosed, building controlling is done because a land that is on the west side of Jl Raya Cacing has been acquired. it will be refunctioned as road, water channel and park.

"We will send 980 joint personnel to control illegal building on Jl Raya Cacing," he stated, after he led the ceremony.

According to him, prior to controlling, his side had sent warning letter on October 26, 2015. There is no relocation and compensation to the building owner. Because they occupy the land illegally.

As known, the personnel consist of urban village, sub-district, Satpol PP, Cleanliness Sub-dept, Park and Cemetery Sub-dept, Transportation Sub-dept, Cleanliness Sub-dept, Water Management Sub-dept, army/police and other related units.
