502 students participating drawing, comic, book review, and blog content competition during Jakarta Child Reading Day (Hanjaba) 2016 in Central Jakarta.
Hanjaba is important and momentum to gain reading interest from early childhood
“Hanjaba is important and momentum to gain reading interest from early childhood,” said Mangara Pardede, Central Jakarta Mayor, Thursday (8/11).
He added that book is like a world window. It must be given to children and adult for better knowledge.
City Launches Jakarta Digital Library“No need buying books. Just open our application I-Jakarta. It prepares books for reading freely,” he added.
Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Head Library and Archive Office, Meti Lastri, explained the event is participated by children age 4-5 years old up to college students.
