A house at Jalan Cibanteng Raya, RT 09/011, Koja Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta burnt at 10.45 AM, Monday (8/15). The fire came from short-circuit electricity.

“Local residents came to office told about the incident. Second floor was fully burnt,” said Satriadi Gunawan, North Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue.

According to him, the house was occupied by five people during the incident. No victim caused by the fire.

“We deploy three fire trucks at the scene. The fire was extinguished 30 minutes later,” he added.

The material loss is predicted to reach Rp 100 million.
