We also prepare three heavy equipments. We send them to Jatinegara, Duren Sawit, Cakung and Cilincing

Then 100 other freelancers sent to Cakung Sub-district. The jurisdiction starts from Jl I Gusti Ngurah Rai bridge until border of Cilincing. As for in Cilincing, North Jakarta, there are 50 freelancers assigned. Every day they work from 8 AM-4 PM.

Sekretaris River Condition Well Improved

"We also prepare three heavy equipments. We send them to Jatinegara, Duren Sawit, Cakung and Cilincing," he stated, Thursday (8/18).

He committed to continue to clean up trash along the canal. But, so far, the canal is much cleaner than before because personnel sent to the field every day.

But he regretted there are still many citizens, especially street vendors (PKL) throw trash on the banks of the canal. After selling, they throw garbage into the canal.

Coordinator of Water Division UPK Freelancer, Bayu Santika added every heavy rain, the canal also gets trash flow from the upstream. Trash is usually drifted out of Cipinang, Sunter, Buaran, Jati Kramat rivers and some connecting channels (PHB).

"But most trash flowing from Buaran River," he finished.
