Tap In-Out System Can Detect Passenger Trip

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed, tap in-out system that will be applied in free bus is to know the pattern of traveler trip. Every passenger will be charged Rp 1.

Using tap in-out, we can know and collect traveler data in Jakarta. We want to promote that Jakarta is cashless society. That is to learn the customer pattern

"Using tap in-out, we can know and collect traveler data in Jakarta. We want to promote that Jakarta is cashless society. That is to learn the customer pattern," disclosed Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (8/23).

By doing so, he believes can provide maximal service to the tourist. Because it can know the most preferred time travelers use the free bus, either double-decker bus or single bus.

Tomorrow, Transjakarta Tap In & Tap Out Trialled

"So we can know when the bus will be full and empty," he told.

His party can also know which sites are the most visited by tourists. It was also as a means to improve service tourist site.

"If we use tap in-out, we can know where you want to go. I can learn your pattern. For instance, if you want to visit Gajah Museum, we will manage and set it," he expressed.

Through such system, people only pays Rp 1 for once trip. "Considering bank cannot conduct zero debit rupiah," he finished.
