Disaster Alert Village Formed in Tugu Selatan

North Jakarta Administration is going to form a disaster alert village (KSB) in Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Koja today, Wednesday (8/24).

This KSB is to give a stimulus to people thus they can help others in their environment

North Jakarta Social Sub-dept Head, Adji Antoko disclosed, KSB will be managed by local citizens consisting of 25-30 people. The local government only gives guidance and logistic.

"This KSB is to give a stimulus to people thus they can help others in their environment," he stated, Wednesday (8/24).

Volunteer Guidance of KSB Intensified

He expressed, it is the same with other KSBs, KSB that will be formed in Tugu Selatan would also be equipped refugee camp, logistic and public kitchen.

"KSB function provides basic needs for disaster victim," he disclosed.

As the information, North Jakarta had had 10 KSBs in three sub-districts. In Penjaringan Sub-district, it was also formed in Pejagalan, Kamal Muara, Penjaringan, Pluit and Kapuk Muara urban villages.

In Pademangan Sub-district, KSB was set up in Pademangan Barat, Pademanan Timur, and Ancol urban villages. While in Cilincing Sub-district, it was set up in Marunda and Semper Timur urban villages
