Jakarta City Council wants mayors to supervise physical auction in their areas. It is aimed to prevent the development out of the line.

Syarif, Jakarta City Council Commission A Member, said the supervision is important to keep the development on the line.

“Please supervise the development in your area. Avoid such Ciracas Sub-district Office construction case,” he said, Tuesday (8/23).

According to him, mayors can not override the project quality because of budget efficiency. The project must be based on capacity.

“Mayors must control the project fully,” he closed.
