Maluku Council Learns About City Council's Budgetary Discussion

Budgetary discussion conducted by City Provincial Government and City Council has attracted the attention of Maluku City Council. They come to consult about budgetary discussion.

Melkianus Sairdekut, a Member of Maluku Council Budgetary Agency said a comparative study was conducted to see models of the discussion between the legislative and executive in Jakarta. Later on, a number of suggestions will be submitted in a budget agency meeting in Maluku Province

"We see the context that can be used as an input, including budgetary discussion in the city," he expressed, Monday (8/29).

Social Agency Needs to Be Innovative in Proposing Budget

According to him, in the discussion, different perception also happens between legislative and executive. Problem-solving consideration in the city could become an input in Maluku.

City Counciol, Prasetio Edi Marsudi disclosed, budgetary discussion in the city is transparent. Thus it can be seen by the society.

"It has become a model in Jakarta that the discussion should be transparent to the public, this is for the sake of public transparency," he finished.
