35 PPSU officers did a temporary handling on a collapsed sheet pile on Jl Lewa, RT 06/10 Pekayon Urban Village, Pasar Rebo. Reparation is only temporary while awaiting handling from Water Management Sub-dept.

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana asked Water Management Sub-dept to follow up PPSU performance. This is because reparation is temporary.

"I ask Water Management to install sheet pile. Yet I also ask local citizens to responsible and assist us, because part of land owned by citizens," he told, Wednesday (8/31).

Chairman of RT 06/10 Pekayon, Bahrudin (55) mentioned, landslide occurred on Tuesday (8/30) at around 4 PM. At that time, the weather was heavy rain accompanied by strong winds.

"Landslide occurred at afternoon. Luckily there were no children play here when it rains," he told.

He hoped, Water Management Sub-dept to immediately solve this in order to avoid another landslide.
